AAPT ready for NBN

The Australian telecommunications market is set to undergo structural change as a result of the Government’s reforms which will see the separation of Telstra’s wholesale and network operations from the rest of the company.  This is seen as a key aspect and pre-condition of the rollout of Australia’s National Broadband Network.

A recent ISP Q&A Series takes a look at the opportunities Australian ISPs have for resellers.  AAPT’s COO David Yuile answers questions on AAPT’s capabilities in the wholesale market and provides a comment on why AAPT are prepared for the new world provided by the NBN:

“We believe there are serious long term wholesale opportunities to emerge from the NBN build. We're extremely well placed to integrate another network. We've made a significant investment in our Infonova platform, which we believe is a best-of-breed, future "Retail Co" reseller platform.  The platform currently leverages our own and third party networks and we'd welcome an opportunity to integrate additional networks.”
