To strengthen the team of 250 employees in our center of excellence in Graz, and also to take part in challenging activities with more than 3,500 international colleagues, we are looking for:
Software Developer (m/f)
Your responsibilities:
- Analysis, design and implementation of software components based on Java enterprise edition
- Conception and development of web front-ends and business components as well as software implementation on various database systems using O/R mappings
- Development of web service interfaces in a service-oriented architecture, modeling and implementing business processes on the basis of a business process engine
- We use “Scrum”, an agile approach which requires and encourages team work and communication, and provides an enjoyable work environment
Your strengths:
- Completed technical education and profound experience in software development with Java (SE and EE)
- Familiarity with the use of OO methodologies and UML, with the use of design patterns as well as with the access to relational databases via SQL
- Keen perception and interest in learning and implementing new technologies
- Experience in some of the following areas would be an advantage:
- Java Frameworks/Technologies: EJB3, Hibernate, Spring, JSF, jBPM, Maven
- Application Server: JBoss AS, IBM Websphere
- Databases: Oracle, MySQL
- Additionally, strong oral and written communication skills in German and English, and willingness to travel
